Upon arrival in Tbilisi, you are greeted by a local representative and escorted to your hotel in the capital. Tbilisi, the historic and lively heart of Georgia, extends along both sides of the Mtkvari River and is encircled by mountains on three sides. Its name comes from the Old Georgian word “tbili,” meaning warm. Archaeological evidence shows that this area has been inhabited since at least the 4th millennium BC. After check-in at your Tbilisi hotel, the remainder of the day is at your disposal for rest or independent exploration. The following morning, after breakfast, your sightseeing begins around 10:00 am with a drive to Mtskheta, the former capital of Georgia and a major spiritual and cultural hub. Here you visit Jvari Monastery and Svetitkhoveli Cathedral, followed by a visit to the Trinity Cathedral – ranked among the largest cathedrals in the world. Later, you proceed to OLD TBILISI for a guided walking tour beginning at Europe Square. The route includes Metehki Church, a cable car ascent to Narikala Fortress, a stop at the “Mother of Kartli” monument, a stroll down to the Abano District, and a walk to the Legvtakhevi waterfall, with free time for photography. You then return to your hotel for the night in Tbilisi. On the next day, after breakfast, you depart around 10:00 am for the Kakheti Region, celebrated as the “Cradle of Wine” due to its renowned winemaking heritage, advanced techniques, and distinctive grape varieties. En route, you stop in the village of Badiauri to sample freshly baked local bread and cheese. You then continue to the romantic “City of Love,” Sighnaghi, a picturesque hilltop town overlooking broad valleys and the imposing Caucasus Mountains. After a visit to the Bodbe nunnery, you head back to Tbilisi. On request, guests may visit the KTW Winery for a wine-tasting experience. The day concludes with a visit to the Chronicle of Georgia monument in Tbilisi to enjoy the surrounding views, followed by an overnight stay in Tbilisi. The following day, after breakfast, your excursion sets off around 10:00 am toward the Tianeti Region. The first stop is Uplisitkhe Caved Town near Gori, where you explore the environs of this enigmatic ancient rock-hewn settlement. You then continue to the Ananuri Complex and Jinvali Reservoir. Afterwards, the journey proceeds to Gudauri, where you visit a notable monument that also serves as a scenic viewpoint over the spectacular Caucasus Mountains. You have time here to relax and take in the scenery before checking in at your Gudauri hotel for an overnight stay. The next morning, after breakfast, your tour commences around 10:00 am with a drive to Kazbegi, one of Georgia’s most sought-after mountain destinations. On arrival in Kazbegi, you transfer to a 4x4 vehicle for an ascent to the mountaintop Gergeti Monastery, dramatically framed by the towering peaks of the Caucasus. Later, you continue to Dariali Gorge, an area of major historical significance and the principal border point between Georgia and Russia. At the end of the excursion, you return to your hotel in Tbilisi to rest and spend the night. On the final day, after breakfast, you are transferred to the airport for your onward journey, carrying with you lasting memories of your Georgian holiday.

At the end of the excursion, drive back to Tbilisi to check in at your hotel and rest. Overnight in Tbilisi.
