My wife and I spent 2 nights in Taj SMS Hotel in the beginning of May, 2018. The location and the room were very good, the hotel provides everything you need. The staff is great, they try to help you in every step and it makes your stay excellent. The Manager took a photo of us and soon the printed photo was in our room (now in our Moscow apartment we look at that photo and feel nostalgia for those days in Jaipur). The room had no chairs on the balcony, we told that It would be great if there we something to sit on - and in 5 minutes the chairs were on our balcony! So, don’t hesitate to ask!)) The breakfast was excellent and the dinner too. Every day the chef went to the hall and asked if everything was enough tasty:) And it was very tasty! Checking out we were given some water to drink on the road to Delhi! It was so cute! In India service is often very good, but this time it was just unbelievable perfect!

We were coming from Ranthambore National Park after couple days of tiger safari. On our way to Mumbai. Great hotel approx 25mins outside old Jaipur. Away from hustle. Next door is bigger and more famous Taj Rambaug Palace hotel. Guests from SMS can go there and have drinks as we did it or have a meal and book it to their room. Food options are good even for vegetarians. Breakfast is hotel buffet. Also very good. Service is great and at Taj high standards most of the time. Would definitely recommend.

Check in was smooth. Room was very tastefully done, some minor lapses in bath-room with respect to house-keeping were quickly remedied. In-room heater was appreciated. Loved the attached restaurant. Limited spread readily available, guests encouraged to order from the menu (for breakfast, at no extra charge). This ensures food is not wasted. We ate at the restaurant both breakfast and dinner and the food was awesome. Front desk staff is great, would like to especially commend Atirah. Limited access to Taj Rambagh Palace, which is somewhat of an issue. Great location. Good wi-fi.

We stayed here for 2 nights in early March. Hotel staff were incredibly helpful, arranging a tour and car. Accommodation is of a good standard and the facilities excellent, especially the Polo bar and restaurant at the adjoining Rambagh Palace. Would stay here again.

The service was exceptional, even by Taj standards. Mr. Sodhi, the manager of the property addressed us by our last names and made it a point to interact with us and extend personal hospitality. Magan, was attentive and tried to get us involved all the activities. Location is excellent, and it was quick and easy to get to most spots on our list, while the proximity to Rambaugh Palace means you have excellent choices for a drink and dinner in the evening. The lunch and dinner experience could be improved somewhat at this property. Overall a great stay, certainly worth recommending, as its decent value too.

We LOVED the SMS. We receive incredible service from the moment we arrived (two hours early and they accommodated our early check-in no questions asked)—especially from Manpreet at the front desk, who made sure we knew all of the best sights to see, all of the most delicious restaurants to visit, and had everything we could possibly need during our stay. We also loved the breakfast provided in the Amber room and highly recommend it! Other than the outstanding service and food, our favorite thing about the SMS is that the property is attached to the Rambagh Palace, which means that you get to feel like you're staying at the palace for 1/10th of the price! From exploring the incredibly beautiful grounds to frequenting the restaurants there, we couldn't have loved it more. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Jaipur!

The SMS was beautiful in every way - the room, location, service, and ambiance. The lovely room opened on to gorgeous gardens. It is a small boutique hotel hidden on the grounds of the rambaugh palace. We felt as though we were in the guest house.
